Welcome to the January edition of this newsletter, welcome to 2026, and welcome to staring down the barrel of any new year’s resolutions you might have made. I’m all for new year’s resolutions, which are nothing more than a commitment to have more discipline. We could all use a little (or a lot) more of that. If someone created a pill that gave us all the discipline we want, it would cut at least by half the revenue of several massive industries (think alcohol, tobacco, fast food, junk food and drinks, a large chunk of pharmaceutical sales, etc.) and cut our health care expenses to a fraction of what they are now. The “sick care economy” is banking on us lacking the discipline to resist our self-sabotaging inclinations.
So I say, resolve with reckless abandon. In fact with a quick search I find that supplements such as omega-3 oils and tyrosine can enhance impulse control, which is half of the self-discipline battle.
Now get comfortable and enjoy another information-packed scroll session. You’ll learn how I became so fascinated with the medicinal potential of water, you’ll read about a patient’s cat allergy that wasn’t a cat allergy, you’ll get invited to a first-ever highly experimental open conversation/Q&A I’ll be hosting at the end of the month, and more. You’ll need to click through and read the full articles to get to the discount offers I’ve strategically buried inside.

**Water Secrets Unveiled: Breakthrough Science & Potent Therapies** |

My fascination with water began in 1996. I was browsing through the collection of old books in the library of my alma mater, NUNM, which was NCNM at the time, back when it was a mere college and not yet a university. The book I incidentally pulled from the shelf one day was The Water Wizard by Victor Schauberger. That book not only changed my understanding of water, but it is not an exaggeration to say that, in very specific ways, it changed the course of my life. Writing in the early 20th century, Schauberger described his observations of water and how it “behaved” differently in the natural environment where he lived and worked, which was in the forests of Austria. For example, he observed that water in nature exhibited a different buoyancy when floating logs under a full moon vs a new moon. He noted that natural water will always flow a curved path, never a straight one. Flowing water generates vortexes whenever possible, minimizes exposure to the sun, and gains its ability to nourish life through interactions with its natural environment. |

A Q & A Experiment, Monday January 26, 9pm ET/6pm PT |
|
A problem that I perpetually face is that patients have more questions than I have time to answer, either during consultations or via email and messaging. Beyond that, in addition to questions about personal health, I have a number of patients who like to ask questions and get into discussions about other topics they know I’m interested in, that I research regularly, and that I write/publish about with some frequency.
I’m going to try an experiment. I am scheduling a Zoom conference call. It will be scheduled for 90 minutes. Anyone can sign up. I will take questions about anything: personal health issues; general thoughts about biology, health, and medicine and how I think about it all; plus other topics I research such as Covid and the weaponization of public health, vaccines in general, and mRNA vaccination injuries; intelligent design and evolutionary theory; cosmology; genetics; embryology and developmental biology; the current political climate as it relates to health, medicine, and “misinformation;” and more.
During this call I won’t be able to discuss any specific person’s treatment plan. That’s not the purpose of this session. I will not be opening any patient charts. I can answer questions that come up about specific conditions, how I think about them, and how I approach them clinically. This is not a session for me to talk through or adjust the treatment plan for any particular person.
Legit question: “Do you think there’s ever a time when killing off bad bugs in the gut is appropriate when treating SIBO/dysbiosis?”
Not a legit question: “Should I keep taking oregano?”
My hope is that everyone will hear some helpful information even through an answer to someone else’s question. And if the comments, commentary, and discussions that transpire provoke anyone to think deeper about these topics or to challenge me on anything I say, all the better.
Some might want to ask lots of questions. Some might want to simply listen to the conversation. This is currently planned as a one-time event, but if it seems productive it can become a regular thing. The cost for the 90-minute session is $30 per household, which will (hopefully) cover the cost of Zoom Pro, which I’ll need for a 90-minute session. If more than one person in your household wants to listen in and participate, all the better.
I guess it goes without saying that, as a Zoom call, by participating you will be forfeiting your anonymity as my patient unless you change your Zoom settings to conceal your name when you log into the session. Signing up is your agreement to share that information with the other participants. Sign up by sending an email to drnigh_info@indigo-flamingo-565281.hostingersite.com and putting Zoom in the subject line. On Monday January 26 at 8:30pm Eastern/5:30pm Pacific I will send out a Zoom link to every email address that has registered. I realize that’s late for people on the east coast but I’m trying to schedule it after work hours for as many people as possible. Patients with a card on file will be charged the day of the event. Lisa will contact and arrange payment from anyone else.

Review Request
Online reviews and testimonials, marketing-savvy people tell me, are the bread and butter of growing a business, especially a business like mine that is conducted entirely online.
I have resisted requesting them for years because there is an ick factor about it that I just can’t shake. But my excellent marketing guy assures me it will greatly extend my online reach.
How You Can Help
If you have something you are willing to say about how you have been helped through your work with me, anonymously or not, please follow the link below and write a brief description of your experience.
It could be a full testimonial about your health improvements, a brief comment about your general experience of working with me as your doctor, or even just clicking one of the 5 stars offered to rate your experience.
It’s a few minutes of your time and mountains of help to me in trying to keep myself visible online. I greatly appreciate your time and effort.

Follow Me on X
If you aren't following me on X, here is just a small sample of the kind of information you are missing out on:

After trying out a few other social media outlets I landed on X (I’m not going to make the obligatory comment that X was formally known as Twitter, because everyone knows that by now). I continue to post on a regular basis about lots of topics that interest me, from medicine and health, to cosmology, evolutionary theory, genetics, and maybe once in a while even politics. Follow me there if you want to learn what I’m finding interesting or significant in the medical world, and to occasionally be challenged to think about some things differently along the way: https://x.com/gnigh |
